Many thanks to Pacific Weddings for featuring this shoot on their blog!
I don't do too many of these styled shoots, but this one was probably one of my favorites, shot a few weeks ago out in Brea, CA. I just loved the limitlessness and freedom of this shoot including the joy I felt that day. I loved shooting the gorgeous Chauntelle Hall on this 30-acre property filled with Monterey Pines and the sun setting sweetly behind us. Lately, I've been challenging myself to explore what it looks like to redefine beauty in a world where we're told what it looks like. This shoot was such a simple reminder to us that true beauty is found in simplicity in that our theme was to convey simplicity in dress, hair and in details. I was so grateful for the chance to freely dream up a shoot from concept to completion together with some of my favorite LA vendors. What a sweet memory to kick off 2015!
